Quick Dinner - Lasagna

I know there are moms out there that are always looking for new quick dinner ideas. Whether you are a working mom or a stay at home mom, cooking dinner can be a task with little ones under your feet. Kinsley insist on being on my hip or hanging on to my legs while I make dinner. But for the most part Daddy is home to play and distract her. :)

This meal is super easy and pretty cheap. And i must add that it tastes like homemade lasagna. Ok here we go.

Stouffers Lasagna

  • Stouffers Lasagna Bake with Meat Sauce
  • Garlic and Cheese Bread
  • Vegetable of your choice
The Stouffers Lasagna can be found at Walmart in the frozen food section. They make all different sizes to accommodate your family. I purchase the small one for about $3.00 and that is just perfect for Jody and I. I also buy the Great Value Garlic and Cheese bread and tend to choose corn or green beans as my vegetable of choice. A quick delicious meal for under $10.00. You will spend more than that going thru the Drive Thru at Chick Fil A.

So when you get home from work immediately preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Change out of your work clothes and get the kids started on homework or distracted with toys. Take the lasagna out of the box and remove plastic seal. Then put the lasagna on a baking sheet. Once the oven is preheated put  your lasagna in the oven and set your timer for 56 minutes. Place garlic cheese bread on separate baking pan and begin the preparation of your vegetables.

Now you have 50 minutes to play with your baby, work with your kids or even start a load of laundry. And if your really motivated... pick up your house. :)

Once your timer goes off, take lasagna out of the oven. Then place your bread in for 5-6 minutes while your lasagna cools and make sure your veggies are done. Once the bread is done, take it out of the oven and make your plate.

Walla!! Dinner is served!!
