She's Crawling!

Within the last week we have really been working with Kinsley on her crawling. She has been sitting up unsupported for a while now and would rock forward to her knees but she just couldn't find that coordination to actually start crawling.

I would have to say that Sunday is when she really started trying. We were at my parents house and we were playing in the living room floor. My mom would put her on her knees and I would put my hands flat on the carpet where she could see them. As she started reaching for my hands I would slowly pull them back towards me and the little cupcake started to follow. I think it was about 3 or 4 crawls and then she would just get frustrated and roll over. We did that a couple of times and then it was time to take a break. Who knew that learning how to crawl was such hard work!! :)

So Monday night when Jody and I got home from work we decided to work on it some more. I must say as we are teaching our 7 month old to learn how to crawl, I am some what emotional. I am beyond excited to be watching my little miracle learn something new but yet I am so sad. This means that she is growing in to a little toddler and will soon be crawling all over the place and I will NO longer be able to keep her in one spot. What am I going to do!?!?! So during all the excitement and emotions I think its safe to say that Kinsley has officially got the crawling down. This weekend I am sure we will be baby proofing our house. This means we get to get on the ground and crawl around to see what this little angel will be getting in too.

The whining was her sign of needing a nap.
