Friday afternoon we could finally sit back and breath because he aced the course. But the madness was not over. He still had two 12 hour hospital rotations to complete and a 24 hour shift at the Fire Station... are you ready for this..... All that on top of working all week. Oh my gawsh!!! I knew he was going to be a walking zombie so I had to prepare myself mentally and physically to take care of all the household chores, wifely duties and mommy duties. (Not to mention this is the 1st REAL week of Teething.... thats another post)
This is how Jody's week began.
Monday: 7am-3pm Work
4pm-5:30pm Sleep
7pm-7am Hospital Rotation
Tuesday: 7am-3pm Work
4pm-5:30pm Sleep
7pm-7am Hospital Rotation
Wednesday: Called in to Work
He got home and said to me, "I just couldn't do it babe, I am so exhausted."
He went to bed at 7:30am and didn't wake up until 5pm. NOW, that is some well needed sleep!
So that night he was well rested and we decided that we were in desperate need of a family night.
We went to El Finex and enjoyed a yummy Mexican dinner. The service there is always wonderful.
And not to mention so quick!! Then we were off to the mall. Daddy and Kinsley did some father/daughter bonding while mommy did some much needed clothes shopping. After the mall we headed to get Jody's haircut and then we were home bound. When we got home Jody showed me some pictures that he and Kins had made in a photo booth while I was shopping. Are you serious? I couldn't believe that they had their pictures made. That is so dang cute.
Its the simple things in life that mean the most!
